ncient times, when the gods swayed, Betrayed by the gods, and cursed to roam,
AMedusa lived while the posies fayed. She sauntered the lands, far from home.
A beauty fair, with locks of gold, Her heart, once taintless, now filled with ire,
In temple halls, her tale was told. A thirst for retaliation, burning fire.
But envy whirled in jealous hearts, Yet deep within her sinuous soul,
Those vicious tongues began their arts. Lays the echoes of a life once whole.
Athena’s wrath, a curse necessitated, A maiden fair and pure, with dreams untold,
Medusa’s fate was tardily desolated. Now cursed to darkness, inhuman and cold.
With serpents coiling her golden locks, So pity her, this direful maid,
Her gape transformed all who dared. Whose fate was chained by gods’ crusade.
Once fair, now feared and evaded, A villain born from victim’s plight,
A victim turned, her light dissipated. Forever trapped in this endless night.
