the Current
rossing the fierce tides, letting out a roar of strength;
CAn aspiration unbreakable, an ardour unyielding,
And a pledge to oneself not to be breached.
The fish swims against the current to satisfy its longing
And become the dragon of the blue sky.
The journey through the waterfall begins
As sacrifices unmerciful lead the sombre way.
The hills and torrents are stern, but so is the forthcoming dragon.
Up the Dragon Gate is crossed to evolve that day,
For this tale to be told for times to come.
The beams of the marvel from the gate reach the headwater.
Impossible it appeared for the carp to attain glory’s craving;
Yet it seemed for it that such splendour awaited.
The fish swims against the current to satisfy its longing
And become the dragon of the blue sky.
