In the
Mirror's
Gaze
n the mirror’s quiet gaze, I see, It’s my own fears that hold me back,
IA truth unveiled, staring back at me. My own doubts that lead the attack.
In the stillness of the night, I ponder deep, I see the architect of my own dismay,
A truth emerges from the shadow’s keep. I see the one who leads me astray.
No need to venture far and wide, Throughout my life through joy and woe,
The answers dwell within, deep inside. I see the tangled web I have spun in my psyche.
In the search for problems, I find, Yet I see the one who can make the change,
The greatest one is in my mind. I see the one who can re-arrange.
I am the creator of my own tears, Thread by thread, knot by knot,
I am the one who makes me fear. I will build what’s been torn.
I am the one who makes me fraught, For in the mirror’s quiet gaze, I see,
I am the one who makes me doubt. The power to change, the strength in me.
No villain lurks in shadows deep, Though I may falter, and fall,
No foe to conquer, no secrets to keep. I am the one who can conquer all.
