In pursuit of a
Space Science: Green
The Way Ahead matter of critical importance for the globe
Campus A is the deterioration of the environment
and its impact. World Environment Day was
observed on 5 June to spread the message of the
importance of a green environment. Fr Mathew
Kalapurayil, Principal, exhorted this message
with the momentous gesture of planting
saplings of the rose apple plant (sysygium
samarangense) in the campus, in the presence
of students of Class XII. Fr Augustine K
Mathew, Manager, Silver Hills Institutions,
was also present on the occasion.
This was followed by a quiz competition for
students of Class XII based on the theme of World
Environment Day 2023, Beat Plastic Pollution.
Charts and posters were also prepared by the
students of Classes VII and VIII.
