THE NOBEL PRIZE

s a teacher of the Senior Secondary section, it is my happiness and aim to
Amotivate senior students to take up scientific research. There is no harm

done if I dream of them making fantastic discoveries! A break-through drug
to cure dreaded diseases like cancer, remedies for environmental pollution,
biotechnology approaches to prevent species extinction…. my suggestions
for them are endless. I go one step further by saying I hope and pray that
one of them will be a Nobel Laureate in the distant future and I can take
pride in the fact that I was one of his/her teachers.
What exactly is the Nobel Prize?

The Nobel Prizes were established by Alfred Nobel. He was a Swedish
chemist, engineer and industrialist. But we all know him for his invention
of dynamite. In his will Alfred Nobel gave all his assets for setting up a new
award, which is now called the Nobel Prize. Who would win this award?
