From the Chief Editor's Desk
W elcome to Cascade, the surging shower of creativity and
self-expression from Silver Hills Public School. From
vibrant city streets to quiet corners of our minds, creativity
weaves together our shared human experience. As we delve
into art, music, literature and technology, we are reminded that creativity
knows no bounds. It is the whispered idea in the dead of night, the bold
brushstroke on a canvas and the soaring melody that lifts our spirits.
As we navigate the complexities of our fast-paced world, it is easy
to get caught up in daily routines and forget the transformative power
of creativity. Yet, it is precisely this spark of imagination that can
revolutionize our lives, communities and world.
Within these pages, you will discover a treasure trove of artistic
talents, imaginative writings and innovative ideas that ripple with the
endless potential of the cascade that is school life. From poetry to
paintings to short stories to reports, every contribution to this magazine
is a testament to the power of creativity and the human spirit. In addition
to works of creativity, the pages also contain a chronicle of all the events
at the school and a roundup of achievements, academic and otherwise.
It also features contributions from other members of the school
community, including the PTA. On this journey into the heart of Cascade,
I, as Chief Editor, would like to thank my team members including teachers,
layout artists, photographers and students. I would especially like
to express my gratitude to Rev Fr Mathew Kalapurayil, our Principal,
Rev Fr Augustine K Mathew, our Manager, the school management and
the PTA.
Together, we have reached the end of a trip. Both – the journey and
the destination – were memorable.
