Silver Hills welcomes its students


1 June  - School Pravesanotsav
The curtain went up on a festive beginning to the new academic year, Pravesanotsav on 1 June 2023. This was our way of saying welcome back to the entire school with the exception of the KG Class 1 and XI. The program began with a prayer, welcome song, and rangapooja. The welcome speech was made by Fr Augustine K Mathew CMI Manager, Silver Hills Institutions The new principal Fr Mathew Kalapurayil CMI delivered his message. This was followed by lighting of the ceremonial the lamp by the Chief Guest Dr Beena Philip Mayor, Kozhikode who also delivered the iinaugural address. A special song was sung by Aryananda R Babu, student and TV performer.  Felicitations were offered by Ms Aditi Chatterjee, Academic Coordinator and Mr Ganesh Bhat, PTA President. Ms Biji Suresh, biology faculty made a speech on behalf of the teachers and a reflection student life was made by  Ruchita Gowri.  A special praveshanotsav song was sung and pravesanotsav dance was performed. 5 June -Kiddies Pravesanotsav
At the Pravesanotsav, the ceremony welcoming students of KG  and Class I back to the academic year,  theatre artistes Vijesh KV and Kabani H were the chief guests. Kabani H delivered the inaugural address.  Felicitations were offered by  Aditi Chatterjee, Academic Coordinator and Dr Robin George, KG PTA President. Student Hazel Ann Joseph made a reflection on student life. The pravesanotsav song was sung and dances choreographed by Kabita Sathisha and Sreeja K were performed by our students.
 The event wound up with a performance by Vijesh whose mastery over the drums and folk songs had the audience spellbound.
6 June- Pravesanotsav Plus One –The Plus One students were welcomed back on 6 June in a brief ceremony held at the school auditorium. A combination of former students and total newcomers made up the new batch encompassing the Computer Science- Maths and Maths-Biology streams. All the class teachers and subject teachers for Plus One spoke emphasing the values and academic legacy of Silver Hills Public School. Principal Fr Mathew Kalapurayi and Fr Augustine K Mathew, Manager, Silver Hills Institutions also spoke on the occasion.
