Independence Day celebration
        
The Independence Day celebration on 15 August 2023, commenced at 8.15 am, with the flag hoisting by Col D Navin Benjit, Commanding Officer, 122 Infantry Battalion, the chief guest of the day. In his inaugural address, he exhorted the students to take pride in the unique culture of our land marked by the unity amid the diversity. The cultural event in the auditorium began with an orchestra by our students trained by the CCA instructors. The Independence Day message was delivered by Major Pawan Kumar Yadav, Adjutant, 122 Infantry Battalion, the guest of honour. He narrated the tales of valour that set the Indian Army apart and inspired the students with his words laced with patriotism. Ms Jeeja Soni, faculty welcomed the gathering. Fr Augustine K Mathew CMI, Manager, delivered the Presidential Address. Fr Mathew Kalapurayil CMI, Principal, also spoke on the occasion. Mr Suresh Kumar M, President, PTA, felicitated the gathering. The formal event came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by Sreya Sudevan, the School Vice- Chairperson. This was followed by song, dance and theatre performances by our students. The day also brought forth, a stunning display of martial arts by our students, under the guidance of their trainers. Students of classes 1 to 12 were encouraged to participate in the celebration held in honour of our country and the brave patriots who won us our Independence.
