As Fr John Mannarathara celebrates his Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee , in 2022, the 25 grace filled years of his priesthood stand testimony to his philosophy that transcends the merely human, envisaging a free horizon in his quest for knowledge and enlightenment. This is a Chronicle of the journey of his life, the 25 years, etched with the mark of faith and fulfilment.
The Jubilee celebration was held on 20 October 2022 in the school auditorium. The programme commenced with the Welcome Dance , an invocation for an auspicious beginning, choreographed by Ms Shabna. An AV depicting the blessed journey of Fr John Mannarathara to priesthood and beyond, scripted and narrated by Ms Chitra Anna was aired. Ms Vimi Suresh, Staff Secretary delivered the Welcome Address. Fr Biju John Vellakada, Manager, Silver Hills Institutions delivered the Presidential Address. He spoke on the creative genius of Fr John Mannarathara that enabled him to initiate huge endeavours as the Principal of premier schools and the Director of Chavara Cultural Centre, Kozhikode. Fr Augustine K Mathew rendered felicitation and spoke of his long association with Fr John. Felicitations were offered by the student, staff and PTA representatives including Mr Ganesh Bhat, Ms Aditi Chatterjee, Ms Jyothi Krishnan Unni, Ms Anitha Sumith and Anugraha Chris.
