PTA MEETING AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING

PARENTS  GENERAL BODY MEETING

The Parents General Body Meeting was conducted on 1 July 2023 for the academic year 2023-24. The Chief Guest of the day was Dr. Siju Thomas Thottappilly, Life Skill and Corporate Trainer. He said that the greatest investment we can make is empowering children with education. It is of foremost importance to  parents to bring  up socially sensitised civilians for tomorrow. Parenting itself has to be updated accordingly to the new generation. The New Education Policy stresses on  skill oriented education would help to streamline students with skill based education to meet the requirements of the future.  As students are digital natives, the right foundation has to be built by providing strong extra curricular activities.  Dr. Siju interacted with parents on the necessity of becoming the role model for their children.
Fr. Augustine K Mathew, Manager , Silver Hills Institution appreciated the role of the parent community and thanked  the help extended by PTA for the functioning of the school. Education is a shared commitment with teachers and parents for a shared commitment.  PTA is a source of strength for offering an ideal atmosphere to shape the child towards a successful future, said Principal Fr. Mathew Kalapurayil CMI addressing the gathering.

Mr. Madhusoodanan K   Vice President PTA welcomed the gathering and Mr.Ganesh Bhat President PTA spoke on the occasion.  Anitha Sumith, Joint Secretary PTA delivered the vote of thanks. 

The meeting commenced with a prayer song by Anugraha Chris Saj and Abhishiktha Chris.  The prayer song was composed by Mr. Ajayakumar K A.  A dance was performed by Ms Shyrasha Jaleel, Ms Megha and Ms Aiswarya followed by a group song by the PTA.
