Silver Hills Public School celebrated the birthday of our respected principal Fr John Mannarathara on Monday, 7 June 2021. The staff, students and parents were enthusiastic in wishing peace and happiness to their special leader.
Due to lockdown restrictions, celebrations were held online. A few staff members and office bearers of the school PTA came to the campus and wished Fr John. Fr Dr Biju John Vellakkada and Fr Augustine Kanjirathumkunnel, manager and administrator of Silver Hills Institutions respectively, graced the online birthday celebrations with their valuable presence and felicitations. A cake was cut and gifts were given to Fr John at the gathering. Former and current staff members, students and other PTA members conveyed their greetings via the virtual meet.
Fr John made a short speech in which he appealed to everyone to be always humble and to not allow false pride to take control.
Staff Secretaries Ms Geetha Nair and Ms Deepa P gave the welcome speech and proposed the vote of thanks, respectively.
