ā€œEducation is not going through the life but it is growing through the life.ā€

ā€˜Learning’, ā€˜de-learning’ and ā€˜re-learning’ can be three words we can associate with education. Life teaches us many things. These ā€˜life-learnings’ are more powerful and lasting than the formal education.
De-learning can be a word which may be used to express the de-coding of the ā€˜life learnings’. Every child needs to do this ā€˜de-learning’. After the ā€˜de-learning’ one has to find out the areas where amendments are needed, where false coding had taken place and whether there was any mutation.
The final step is ā€˜re-learning’. It is learning new. After assessing the nature of the ā€˜learning’ that had already taken place, the educator and child needs to concentrate on ā€˜re-learning’. In ā€˜re –learning’ the past mistakes are not repeated. Instead new strategies are followed depending on the person in question. This learning is quite personal and life long.
Silver Hills Public School always likes to add this personal touch to its educational formalities. This is just likes walking an extra mile with the student, going beyond the curriculum. Only if we go beyond the curriculum we can touch the life of the child. So here at Silver Hills Public School education gets a personal touch. More than the brain, education has to reach the heart. The heart of education is love. Education must help us to love more….. serve more…… and to be a good human being.
Let us lift the level of education beyond the curriculum.
Wish you all the very best.
